The campus was built to temporarily house King Kamehameha Elementary III School students whose campus was burned beyond repair in the devastating wildfires on August 8, 2023, displacing more than 600 students.  The facility includes classrooms, a cafeteria, covered space, a basketball court, and buildings for administration and learning resources.

This project was the recipient of the 2024 CMAA Project Achievement Award.
